Tyler Xavier Ellis (born October 23, 2004), known professionally as Partybenjiz, is an American rapper and singer. Signed to label GOSTAR early of 2023 for his talent Partybenjiz cultivated a quick following quickly with his prior name Famous Riku. He has collaborated with other artists & producers including Sofaygo, OsamaSon , SiyahXO , Metro Boomin & Mexikodro. [1]
Career
edit2022: Beginning Era
editTyler started taking rap seriously and recorded himself off a snowball microphone to push his dream. His first record was a song called Stabbed In The Heart dropped on Soundcloud as the song had quick rapid success in the underground. He went to Valley Stream North High School, and dropped out 9th grade due to legal issues.[2] Following with SITH being a success he continued to release more music all throughout that year & even made collaborations with other underground rappers such as SiyahXO & OsamaSon. [1]
His popularity very early lead Sofaygo, to pick up on his sound quickly as they made music together summer of 2022.[3] [4] [5] Partybenjiz had a single called "Alone" leaked which was produced from Faygo and fans picked up the sound early on. This same year it was announced Partybenjiz signed a record deal with Sofaygo apart of Gostar Collective. [6]
2023: Life Is Art and Arrest
editPartybenjiz and his fanbase were expecting his latest and very first EP "LIFE IS ART" by December as this would be his first debut project although the project had gotten delayed until 2024.[7] The reason being for this EP being delayed was because of Partybenjiz arrest in March 2023 on home robbery charges.[2] He was behind bars for 5 months & returned home in August on probation. Prior to his arrest the last time he was seen on camera was in Sofaygo Music Video With DD Osama "Wish I Could Tell You" & a Vanity Fair unreleased magazine cover. [4] [8]
When Partybenjiz returned home from his county jail sentence he immediately returned to working on his EP & performing again. October 17 , 2023 he headlined "The Never Ending Masquerade" underground show with other artist on his level at the time.[9]
2024-Present: Forgot I Rap
editJanuary 6, 2024 Partybenjiz dropped after a year wait his first single since 2022 called Forgot I Rap.[10] This song was long awaited previewed on his instagram live as a snippet they have been anticipating since 2023. Once he finally released it this brought a lot more new founded attention to Partybenjiz placing him a top 50 hottest rapper in New York City.[3] It was announced this year Partybenjiz had left Gostar and is now an independent rapper again according to multiple sources across the media in May.[6] Speculations have also been surfaced that he has beef with rapper Pasto Flocco as fans jumped to saying he dissed him in a leaked song Hi 5 / Gallo as reasons are unknown yet. [11]
