The Patria Party is a minor, far-right[1] political party founded[2] and registered in 2012[3] by Dr. Andrew Emerson and others who left the British National Party after becoming disillusioned by the running of the party.[1]

The party has a wide range of polices on many differnt issues including Immigration, Education, defense, environment and others.[4]

  • Erect tariffs, establish selective and temporary import and exchange controls.
  • Establish a publicly owned National Investment Bank.

Law and Order

  • Lower the state pension age to 60.
  • Increase the pension every year by either Wage Inflation, Price Inflation or 2.5%, whichever is highest.
  • Introduce a new higher tax rate at 60p per pound of income over £100,000 per year.
  • Abolish Value-added Tax and replace it with a graduated sales tax and a purchase tax.

2015 Local Election

Party Leader Andrew Emerson stood in the Chichester West ward in the 2015 Chichester district council election in the 2015 local elections. He came last with 125 votes.[6]

2015 General Election

The party stood 2 candidates in the 2015 general election. One in Bournemouth West and the other in Chichester.[7]

The party did not stand a candidate in the 2024 general election with the party leader Andrew Emerson standing as an independent in Chichester.[19][20]
