Paul Parkey Jr. better known by his online pseudonym Paulsego, is an American content creator, skeptic, and social commentator. He gained prominence through his participation in various online platforms, particularly Youtube, where he is known for his critical thinking, articulate conversational skills, theatrical storytelling, and his commentary on a wide range of topics including religion, politics, and popular culture. Parkey is best known for his role as a host on the popular streaming podcast the Drunken Peasants.

Parkey began his Youtube channel Highdeology in 2007, where he created videos centered around atheism, left-wing politics, and philosophy. Known as Paulsego, Parkey was an active member of the Youtube skeptic community. The Highdeology Youtube channel was permanently banned from youtube in September 2023. He continues to host conversational streams on his backup channel ThePaultergeist.[1]
In 2015, due to his reputation as an online commentator, he began frequently appearing as a guest on the Drunken Peasants, and in 2016 he became a full-time host of the show. Some of his most memorable moments on the show include interviewing far-right commentator Milo Yiannopoulos,[2] being tortured by a Dominatrix during a Jeopardy! parody stream,[3] and the popular segment "Storytime with Paul", where he would share stories from his childhood and young adult life.[4]
Milo Yiannopoulos, following a heated debate with Parkey on the Drunken Peasants Podcast, along with an controversial remarks Yiannopoulos made on The Joe Rogan Experience, landed him in hot water due to opinions he shared regarding relationships between young boys and older men.[5] Yiannopoulos, who was slated to be a Keynote Speaker at CPAC in 2016, ended up losing his slot due to his controversial comments and has since struggled to regain his former popularity.[6]
In 2018, Paul and two other hosts of the Drunken Peasants, TJ Kirk and Kirk's younger brother Scott, left the Drunken Peasants and formed a new online comedy podcast Deep Fat Fried, colloquially known as DFF. The trio also formed the company Pessimist Productions, which currently has over 5,000 Patreon members.[7]
