Pawandeep Rajan (born 27 July 1996)[7] is an Indian singer and music composer. He is known for his work in Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali and Assamese music industries. He was the winner at the television singing reality show 2015 The Voice India and 2020-21 Indian Idol.[8][9]

Early life
editBorn to a musical family. His father Suresh Rajan is a renowned folk singer. Pawandeep learned music from his father in his early age.[10][11][12]
He did his schooling from University Senior Secondary School, Chmapawat. and, completed his graduation from Kumaun University of Nainital, Uttrakhand.[13][14]
Career
editPawandeep started his singing career through television debut. He participated in television singing reality show The Voice India season 1, in 2015. and, won the competition.[15][16]
He later participated in Indian Idol season 12 in 2020-21. and, won the reality show. [17][18]
He is also a member of the band Rait, based in Chandigarh.[19][20]
