- Comment: Might be notable but see WP:INTREFVE for how to add sources and statements like "playing a critical role in the city’s urban development and governance." are not neutral. This is not his resume. S0091 (talk) 18:16, 11 September 2024 (UTC)
Prashant Sudamrao Jagtap is an Indian politician from the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). He has served as the Mayor of Pune from 2016 to 2017, playing a critical role in the city’s urban development and governance. Representing the Hadapsar constituency, Jagtap’s career began at the grassroots level when he was first elected as a corporator in the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). His tenure in the PMC focused on addressing infrastructure challenges and improving public services, especially in rapidly urbanizing areas like Hadapsar.
As mayor, Jagtap was closely associated with Pune’s Smart City Mission and worked on projects related to waste management, public transportation, and digital infrastructure.
Jagtap also holds a significant position within the NCP, having been appointed the Pune city president of the NCP in 2021.
