Prem Kumar was elected unopposed from his ward in 2003 as Municipal Councillor in Kalanaur, Haryana municipal committee.
Prem Kumar is running as a "Panchayati" independent candidate in 2024 Haryana Legislative Assembly election from Kalanaur (SC) Reserved Constituency No.63 Kalanaur Assembly constituency.[2] [3]
