The Observatory of ideological discourses on children and adolescents, known as La Petite Sirène Observatory (Observatoire La Petite Sirène or OPS), is a general interest association under the 1901 law founded on May 28, 2022.

La Petite Sirène Observatory is a multidisciplinary collective of professional practitioners and researchers: doctors, child psychiatrists, psychologists, psychoanalysts, lawyers, anthropologists, sociologists, philosophers, juvenile judges, National Education teachers, heads of educational establishments, among others <ref> The OPS charter is available on the website https://www.observatoirepetitesirene.org </ref>.

It aims to warn childhood professionals, parents, and the general public about the impact of social networks and activism. The first works focus on gender dysphoria.

It aims to raise awareness among parents and childhood professionals of the potentially lasting and irreversible effects of certain medical practices related to gender transition. The site offers scientific studies, testimonials and resources to inform the public.
