Prince Charming is an upcoming American romantic fantasy film co-written and directed by Paul King. It is an adaptation of Charles Perrault's 1697 fairy tale "Sleeping Beauty".

Production

In July 2015, it was reported that Walt Disney Pictures had bought a live-action script of a fairy-tale Prince Charming, written by Matt Fogel. David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman would produce the film thorough Mandeville Films along with Tripp Vinson.^[1] In October 2024, Paul King had been hired to direct, with king co-writing the screenplay with Simon Farnaby and Jon Croker.^[2] Chris Hemsworth was eyed to star in the lead role and principal photography is scheduled to begin in 2025.^[3]

Release

Prince Charming is expected to be released in the United States in 2026.^[3]
