Print and Play (sometimes abbreviated to "PnP"), is a process for distributing and manufacturing board games.
Print and Play is characterized by the digital distribution of the elements of a game (rules, materials) in the form of electronic files, allowing end-users to create a physical copy of the game using widely available printing and reproduction tools, such as consumer-grade printing and 3D printing.[1]
As there are no manufacturing or distribution costs for the game creator, the Print and Play model allows creators to widely distribute their games on blogs and websites. Numerous online repositories of Print and Play games exist, such as dedicated web pages at BoardGameGeek.com[1] and the American Library Association[2]
