Quality Airport Services (QAS) is a Israel aviation services company providing airport ground handling, lounge hospitality and cargo handling services. The services are provided to a variety of airlines and flights - passenger flights (regular and charter, long-haul flights and short-haul flights), cargo flights, private flights and private planes, military flights, diplomatic flights.
These services include:
- Passenger service: flight registration and ticketing, passenger and baggage check (and baggage tracking, lost and found), assistance to passengers with disabilities and escorted passenger service, VIP service.
- Aircraft service: inspection services at the aircraft apron, planning and control of the aircraft load, operations and traffic services, support and assistance with ground equipment at the apron and coordination with suppliers and authorities.
As of 2023, QAS is the largest company out of the three companies providing ground services at Ben Gurion Airport.
The company was established in 1996 by the global company Swissport (50%) and the Israeli company Knafiim Holdings (50%).
Since 2004, the QAS company has partnered in equal parts with Dan Hotels to operate 6 lounges for passengers and non-residents in the Ben Gurion Airport (lounges in B and C arms, the premium lounge in E arm, super premium Arbel lounge, Dan+ lounge).
