R. Raghunatha Reddy is an Indian Cinematographer (Director of Photography) from Muthukur Nellore District, Andhra Pradesh and currently living in Chennai, Tamilnadu. He started his career as a junior cameraman at Vijaya Vauhini Studios, Chennai. He is known for his work in films, such as Punnagai Mannan, Sindhu Bhairavi, Azhaghan, Pudhu Pudhu Arthangal, Duet, Vaaname Ellai. He has worked predominantly in Tamil movie Industry, especially with K. Balachander. He was awarded the Kalaimamani Award in the year 2019. He has also worked as Cinematographer in Telugu, Kannada and Hindi Films.

He was born in Muthukur, Nellore District at Andhra Pradesh to the couple Ravooru Jayaram Reddy and R. Venkata Subbamma. He is married to Sumathi. They have two daughters Thanuja, Prathibha.

His father Ravooru Jayarama Reddy (Art Director, Vijaya Vauhini Studios, Chennai) made him join as a junior cameraman at Vijaya Vauhini Studios. During that time Mr. Konda Reddy was the head of the Camera Department.
