Ratanpur is a small village in Bhatar CD block in Bardhaman Sadar North subdivision of Purba Bardhaman district in the state of West Bengal, India with total 316 families residing. It is located about 26 kilometres (16 mi) from West Bengal on National Highway towards Purba Bardhaman.[1][2][3]

At around 26 kilometres (16 mi) from Purba Bardhaman, the journey to Ratanpur from the town can be made by bus and nearest rail station bhatar.[4]
