Ratormir Vico (Serbian Cyrillic: Ратимир Вицо; March 22 1947 — 2005) was a Serbian government official and journalist, and the former Minister of Information of Serbia. He was a part of the Socialist Party of Serbia. He is ethnically and nationally a Serb.

Life and Career

Ratomir Vico was born on March 22 1947 in Prokuplie, Serbia^[1]. Son of Dusan and Jovanka (Gucinski) Vico.

After he finished high school, he attended the Faculty of Law in Belgrade and earned a diploma in 1964. Not long after, he started expanding his career, before becoming the chief editor at Radio Belgrade, from 1972-1982, eventually 1982-1985.

Then he was promoted to General director at Radio Television Belgrade, lasting 5 years from 1985-1989, and a slight addition in 1991.

Politics

Ratomir Vico first served as the Minister of Information in 31 July 1991 till his term ended on 23 December 1991.

After his service, he served another term in office as the Minister of Information under Mirko Marjanović, lasting from 28 May 1996 till 24 March 1998.
