Prajwal Kali (born 30 Jan 1994), known professionally as Red Parasite, is an Indian YouTuber, gamer and online streamer, He is best known for live streaming gaming content in Kannada. He is a pioneer in gaming content in Kannada and the only prominent active PC gamer in the language.
Personal life
editRed Parasite, born in Hubli, is the eldest of two children. After completing his BCA, he pursued content creation as his full-time profession.
Career
editRed Parasite began his streaming career with PUBG in 2018. He gained substantial popularity by regularly live streaming games in Hubballi Kannada. Since there were few creators actively producing gaming content in this language (apart from the Last Zone team content creators), he quickly rose to fame. His streams consistently attracted significant viewership in Kannada at that time.
One of Red Parasite's biggest achievements is promoting PC games in Karnataka. When he started playing GTA 5 Roleplay, many gamers in Karnataka were inspired to explore PC gaming. His roleplay on Kannada servers began to gain significant attention alongside his console gameplays like Spiderman, Uncharted, and many more. During his GTA RP streams, he reached the highest viewership on Kannada PC gaming platforms and gained the largest number of YouTube memberships.
Red Parasite was also part of PUBG Esports events where he won championships and participated in LAN events, leaving his mark in the finals. He even started his own Esports team, which represented him for a while but eventually disbanded.
Currently, he has over 164k subscribers on his primary YouTube channel with an active viewer base. On October 22, 2022, he joined Gods Reign as a content creator. He has collaborated with many brands for promotional activities.
