Reflo Company Limited is a sanitary pad and baby diaper manufacturing company located in Ghana.[1][2]
History
editReflo Company Limited was founded in 2014 with the mission to provide accessible and affordable sanitary products for women and baby care products for mothers across Ghana. Reflo was founded by Rebecca Osam, who is also the current CEO of the company.[3][4]
Products
editThe company produces two main products:
- Sanitary pads
- Baby diapers.[5]
Corporate social responsibility
editReflo focuses on empowering women and contributing to community well-being through the promotion of women’s health and hygiene. The company also seeks to create awareness around the importance of proper sanitation and hygiene, particularly for women and mothers.[6]
- The company donated cash to support Hasaacas Ladies. [2]
- Reflo Company Limited, together with the Florence Mensah Foundation, distributed sanitary pads to head potters known popularly as kayaye in the Central Business District in commemoration of the International Day of the Girl Child.[1]
- The company educated on menstrual hygiene and donated pads to the students at the Accra Girls SHS. [7]
- Reflo Company hosts community advocacy through its “1000 Sanitary Pads for Girls" project, alleviating period poverty in underserved communities. This project is said to have helped keep girls in school without anxiety and combats the embarrassment of not having sanitary pads during their periods.[8]
