Rho Epsilon Iota Professional Real Estate Fraternity (REI) was founded at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor in 2024 by Ashlyn Elwood and Simran Guliani as a way to "unite students on campus with a passion for real estate." Since its creation, REI has worked to spread Chapters across the Nation to provide educational and networking opportunities for all real estate inclined students and alumni.[1]

Mission and Vision

Rho Epsilon Iota Professional Fraternity's mission is "Building Futures, Investing in Excellence." The fraternity promotes this vision of excellence in the real estate industry by providing its members with opportunities for professional development, networking, and community engagement. The Rho Epsilon Iota brotherhood is committed to fostering a culture of integrity, innovation, and leadership amongst its members.[2]

Programs and Initiatives

Rho Epsilon Iota offers a variety of programs and initiatives designed to support the professional development of its members. These include:

Chapters

Rho Epsilon Iota has worked to establish Chapters at colleges and universities throughout the nation. Each Chapter operates under the guidance of the national organization and is responsible for organizing local events, educational programs, and community service initiatives. The fraternity encourages the establishment of new Chapters to expand its reach and impact in the real estate community.[4]

Membership

Membership in Rho Epsilon Iota is open to students, professionals, and alumni in the field of real estate. Members benefit from a wide range of resources, including access to industry events, educational programs, mentorship opportunities, and a vast network of real estate professionals. Dues are collected per semester and can be remitted either online or in person.[5] [6]

Governance

The fraternity is governed by a Board of Directors established at each Chapter. These Directors each specialize in a specific facet of real estate and are responsible for setting the strategic direction of their Chapter and overseeing its campus operations.[10]
