Draft:Rick Bailey (singer)

Rick Bailey (born Ricardo Bailey, January 29th, 1947) is a Jamaican born, British singer, songwriter, and producer, known primarily for his recordings with the soul and funk band Delegation.[1] Delegation was formed in 1976, and Rick answered the call for a Lead Singer for a male vocal trio soul band, under the mentorship of successful songwriting and production duo Ken Gold and Mickey Denne. They went on to record 5 successful albums, achieving numerous hits across the globe and gold status on their sophomore album “Eau de Vie” released in 1979. After a few personnel changes, the remaining members left the band in the early 80s and Rick continued as the sole remaining founder member under the Delegation name. He still records music and tours to his legions of fans across the globe to the current day.
