History
[edit]Ride Maldives Pvt Ltd was incorporated in 2016 under the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Maldives.[1] The company initially specialized in local IT infrastructure, enterprise networking, and cybersecurity solutions for Maldivian businesses and government entities.[2]
In February 2024, following Starlink's licensing rollout in the country, Ride Maldives introduced dedicated enterprise and maritime satellite connectivity, deploying Flat High Performance terminals and managed network infrastructure for commercial vessels and resort properties across the archipelago.[3][4]
In October 2025, Ride Maldives was selected as the official Internet Partner for TechEng 2025, the inaugural hospitality technology and engineering exhibition held in Hulhumalé.[2]
