Pendergist born in Bar Harbor Maine, grew up in Ellsworth, Maine, and graduated From Ellsworth High school and went on to Mount Saint Marys College (University) 1993. Pendergist granted a Red Shirt for a shoulder injury finished out his final college season 1994.
Pendergist a 3 time NCAA All American, with a 2nd place finish at the Division 1 NCAA Championship's Boise Idaho 1994. Notably Pendergist was undefeated at the indoor Pentathlon, winning the IC4A's all four years he participated, earning him a place in sport illustrated "faces in the crowd". 55m Hurdles, Long Jump, Shot Put, High Jump, 1000 meter run. His effort in his senior year at the IC4A's is one of the highest national marks earned in the mens college Pentathlon. Mount Saint Marys first to list Pendergist in the Hall of Fame in 2004, he was only 34 years old one of the youngest inductees in the Mounts 70 years of athletics. He earned awards such as NEC (north east conference) performer of the meet 2 times in his 4 yrs. The State of Maine (2015) followed with and inductions Into the Maine State Hall of Fame for his accomplishments where Pendergist earned a national High School Championship in the Pentathlon. editRobert has spent 21 yrs as a financial professional, starting out his career with Guardian (Working for a planning firm from New Jersey. Advancing his career he went on to get security registration 6,63 advancing into the business and estate planning area. His time now is spent as a financial advisor holding out his responsibilities and fiduciary duties. Robert is registered under a federally covered advisory platform.
