Ruben Andre Thompson (born February 15, 1990), known professionally as Ruben Slikk, is an American rapper and record producer from Miami-Dade County, Florida. He is the co-founder of the now-defunct American hip-hop collective Metro Zu. He has been cited as an influence by artists such as Lil Peep, XXXTentacion, and Xaviersobased. Since 2010, Thompson has released over 30 mixtapes, albums and EPs.

Early life

Ruben Andre Thompson was born on February 15, 1990 in Miami-Dade County, Florida. He grew up in Miami Shores, Florida and started making music in the 9th grade during the early 2000s inspired by magazines such as Scratch and Electronic Music Magazine.

Career

Thompson formed the group Propr Boyz with Mike Dece.^[1]
