Parul Toys (I) Pvt. Ltd. is an Indian toy manufacturing company, founded in 2000 with headquarters in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Apart from its own brands-Leotoon & Parul Toys, the Company also manufactures and distributes products under many domestic toy brands in the Indian market.

History

Parul Toys was established in 2020 as a Private Limited Company by Mother & Daughter duo-Shweta Agrawal & Parul Agrawal. The company began commercial operations same year in the month of August. Parul Toys manufactures all its products (including licensed products) at manufacturing facilities in Chennai, and in Bangalore.  Company’s location in Chennai is a major industrial hub thus enables it to leverage local resources and talent, contributing to regional economic development and creating new employment opportunities.

Expansion and Growth

In 2023, Parul Toys made a significant leap in its expansion strategy by opening a 20,000-square-foot factory in Bangalore. This new facility is dedicated to producing European-style baby walkers-a product that has gained popularity among parents due to its high safety standards and quality craftsmanship. The expansion reflects the company’s continued commitment to offering world-class products that meet global standards in terms of safety, design, and functionality. 

Investments

A key strength of Parul Toys is its extensive collection of toys molds, valued at over 25 million INR. 2024-2025: With increasing production capacity and new market opportunities on the horizon, Parul Toys expected to report approx. 250 million INR revenue to the Government.

Parul Toys products are currently sold in all the e-commerce as well-as retail stores across India.

MOU with Cartoon Network & Warner Bros.

In a major strategic development, Parul Toys recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with global entertainment giants Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. This collaboration will allow Parul Toys to incorporate beloved characters from popular shows such as Ben 10, Powderpuff Girls, Scooby-Doo, Tom & Jerry, Batman, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Women, Bat Wheel, Teen Titan Go, We Bear Bears and Looney Tunes into its product offerings. The agreement will initially focus on ride-on toys but will expand to include baby tricycles, strollers, and other juvenile products. This partnership is expected to elevate Parul Toys’ brand visibility and attract a broader customer base, as children and parents alike connect with the familiar characters featured on the toys.

For Cartoon Network and Warner Bros., this partnership represents an opportunity to extend their popular franchises into the rapidly expanding Indian toy market. As Parul Toys continues to grow, this collaboration will allow it to offer character-themed toys that resonate with a global audience, while supporting the “Make in India” initiative.
