- Comment: It is almost there, but needs a bit more work. For example, phrases like "Sabrina Puppin has received numerous prestigious awards and honors" is somewhat promotional in tone and is not properly cited. You have cited just one award. However, you don't need citations to lots of different awards, what you need is a citation to a reliable source that says she has won multiple awards and that they are prestigious. Sabrina Puppin is an Italian artist known for her work across various mediums, including painting and drawing. She has exhibited internationally at venues such as the Fire Station Galleries, Qatar Museums in Doha, the Kyoto Museum in Japan, and the Central State Museum of Kazakhstan. Puppin is also recognized for her contributions to art education, having held prominent roles at the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha and Dar Al Founoun Art School at Waqif Art Center in Doha.
Early life and education
editBorn in Aviano, Pordenone, Italy, Puppin earned her Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from the School of Visual Arts in New York City in 2018.[1] She holds a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in African Art Studies from Union Institute and University in Cincinnati, Ohio.[2][1] Additionally, she received a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Art History and Anthropology from Vermont College, where her thesis focused on "Masks as a World Phenomenon." Puppin also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Art Studio and a diploma in Painting and Drawing from Neue Kunst Schule in Zurich, Switzerland. [2][1] Her work reflects her in-depth study of African art from the sub-Saharan region, examining its cultural and artistic dimensions.[2][1]

Between 2019 and 2022[3], she served as a curator at StartaArta in New York, organizing solo and group exhibitions. From 2012 to 2016, she held the position of Head of Art Education and Art Programs at the same museum, designing public education programs and enhancing local engagement with the institution.[3][4][5]
As an artist, Puppin’s work evolved from realistic portraiture to abstract expressionism[6], focusing on themes of human emotion, culture, and perception.[6] Notable series include Interwoven (2011/2012), Natural Forces/Human Emotions (2014/2015), and American Dream (2016/2017)[4], with recent works featuring intricate geometric patterns. Her exhibitions span major international venues, including the Qatar Museums’ Fire Station Gallery[6], Al Gassar Gallery, XIV Florence Biennale[6], and the 1st Sanremo Biennale[6], as well as museums in Kazakhstan, Japan, and India.[6][4]
