Sach Is Life

Sach is Life is a biographical feature film based on Dr. Sachin Munshi’s life. It is written and directed by Harsh Mahadeshwar.[1]. The film is produced by Romila Saraf Bhat, Rahul Bhat and produced by Red Bison Productions[2] located in Princeton, New Jersey. Noted Indian actors Kirti Kulhari[3] and Jim Sarbh[4] will headline the movie. It narrates the compelling tale of his parents who remain united in their determination to provide their son a life that he deserves.[4]

The film is due to commence principal photography in June 2024 and will be shot in Kashmir, New Delhi, New Orleans, New Jersey and New York.

Plot

“Sach is Life” (sach is the Hindi-language word for truth) is based on the real life story of the Munshi family.[2] The movie portrays resilience and grit of Sachin’s family, mainly his mother Daisy Munshi. When her first born, Sachin Munshi, is diagnosed with a rare genetic disease Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), she vows to give her child the best life possible with the support of her family[5]
