Saval is an area in County Down, Northern Ireland. A remote country side ranging from the border of Mayobridge to to border of Glen Parish-jerrettspuss, it has a Gaelic football club (Saval GAC)[1] and handball team.[citation needed] The townlands of Saval Beg (0.6 square miles (380 acres)) and Saval More (0.5 square miles (320 acres)) are in the civil parish of Newry.[2][3]
