Seán de hÓra (c. 1715 – c. 1780), anglicized as John Hoare, was an Irish poet. De hÓra was born in County Cork and relocated to Doonaha, County Clare as a young man to work as a blacksmith. De hÓra was influential in the area's oral tradition and his work constituted a large part of the Irish language poetic repertoire of County Clare until the middle of the 20th century. There are 25 extant poems attributed to him.
