Sebastian’s Clubhouse is an animated hybrid educational web series that premiered on YouTube on July 23, 2023. The series was created by Sebastian2k9 and focuses on teaching preschoolers basic problem-solving, teamwork, and emotional intelligence through fun adventures inside a colorful clubhouse. It gained popularity ever since.[1] The series is available to watch on YouTube and the owner of the show (Sebastian2k9) soon might want it to air on CBeebies. The show is inspired by Doki. A movie is recently starting production.
Format
[edit]The show starts with the introductions of the characters, including Soodles, their helper. Before adventures start, they announce the specific items to get through the adventure. They always go on any type of adventure they want, while they solve the problems requiered to continue. Each time a problem happens, they shout Soodles and fixes the problem within minutes. When they are done with the adventure, they do a dance break. The clubhouse closes and dissapears until the next episode.[2]

Production

[edit]The first appearance of the show being mentioned was in the channel itself, talking about the clubhouse characters. It released February 4th, 2023, and later on, shorts were made before the first episode of the show was released. They announced it will have 20 seasons total in one of their videos, making it continue for a good while, and then progress was made later on. Production started around June 2023. Each epsiode takes a few weeks to make due to it being hard to make. The series is animated using KineMaster and 2D animation, so it would make total sense why. The animation segments are produced by Sebastian Entertainment, the company working for the show and managing it. Later on, a comic studio for the show was made.[3]
DVD
[edit]It once had a DVD, which was extremely rare because there was only 1 copy due to the budget. Distribution is made by another company named The Government of Izan Land, the one making the DVD. It got sent to Dublin shortly after, and hasn't gotten a copy of it after that.[4]
Reception
[edit]Early reviews from educational media critics praised the series for its bright visuals and interactive storytelling. It has been compared to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, for its approach to early childhood education. It has been rated 7,6/10 in IMDb, overall being good for an educational show.[5] Although the animation quality is bad, it's a good show to watch, and also being one of the most famous ripoffs to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
Around June 2026, S3 E8 premired on a school board around 9th grade students. The students loved it. This is considered as the show's first screening.
