Sebastian Gishamer (born 13 October 1988) is an Austrian football referee who officiates in the Austrian Football Bundesliga. He has been a FIFA referee since 2019, and is ranked as a UEFA first category referee.[1]

Officiating career

Gishamer represents the Salzburg Football Association (Salzburger Fußballverband). He rapidly advanced through the Austrian lower divisions before making his debut in the top-flight Austrian Football Bundesliga during the 2016–17 season. In 2019, he was added to the FIFA International Referees List.[2]

Gishamer was born and raised in Salzburg, Austria. Alongside his active refereeing career in domestic and European competitions, he plays an active role in local referee development and education initiatives under the Salzburg Football Association.
