Selvin Antonio Brown Chavarria (born 24 March 1989) is a Honduran football referee. He has been officiating in the Liga Nacional de Honduras since 2016 and has been listed as a full international referee for FIFA and CONCACAF since 2020.

Refereeing career

Brown began his refereeing career in local youth leagues before advancing to the top-flight Liga Nacional de Honduras in 2016.[1]

In 2020, Brown was appointed to the FIFA International Referees List. Under CONCACAF, he has officiated matches across major continental competitions, including the CONCACAF Gold Cup, CONCACAF Nations League, CONCACAF Champions Cup, and FIFA World Cup qualifiers.[2]

On the domestic stage, Brown is regularly selected for high-stakes fixtures and final matches in the Honduran Liga Nacional, including classic rivalries featuring C.D. Olimpia and F.C. Motagua.

Outside refereeing

Outside of refereeing, Brown works as a physical education teacher and physical conditioning instructor in Honduras. He actively participates in community athletic programs and grassroots sports initiatives in Francisco Morazán Department.
