edit(born 25 October 1992), popularly known as Tonny Sendawula, is a Ugandan computer scientist, programmer, Information Systems Specialist, and consultant born in Kiira town, (now Municipality), [[Wakiso District]], Central Uganda. His parents are Katumwa Joseph deceased and Namipijja Pauline. He attended Najjera Progressive Primary School. For his O-Level education, he attended Comprehensive College – Kitetika and Nasana Secondary School. Later, he studied at Masaka Secondary SchoolMasaka Secondary School]] for his A-Levels.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Makerere University Uganda's oldest and largest public university in Kampala Uganda's capital city and a Master of Science degree in information systems from Uganda Martyrs University in Nkozi, Mpigi District.

Career
editBetween June 2022 and the present, Tonny Sendawula has been serving as the Regional IT Officer - Acholi for University Research Co., LLC, leading IT infrastructure design, asset management, and cost reduction initiatives for both the USAID RHITES-N Acholi and USAID Uganda Health Activities. From June 2021 to June 2022, he was the Regional IT Officer – Eastern/Eastern Central at Uganda Protestant Medical Bureau - USAID/LSDA, overseeing regional ICT above-site roles. Prior to that, he worked as a Business Intelligence Analyst at Tugende Limited from June 2020 to June 2021, focusing on data quality and reporting for Kenya and Uganda. Between February 2019 and May 2020, he served as an Information Systems Consultant at University Research Co., LLC improving data management for health facilities. He also worked as a Systems Analyst at Social Scientific Systems (now DLH) under the USAID SITES from February 2018 to August 2018. Earlier, from May 2017 to January 2018, he was a Research Assistant and Team Lead at Uganda Healthcare Federation, coordinating health sector assessments and improving data collection processes.
