Raja Sur Shah Sengar and Raja Bir Shah Sengar came from Phaphund Area invaded and Attacked LAKHNESAR Pargana in late 13th century and Then Established Empire over there then Sur Shah along with his Family and Army stayed in LAKHNESAR Pargana and Bir Shah along with his family settled near Sikandarpur And Jahanabad and his desendents known as "Barahiya Rajputs" Barahiya Rajput King and Son of Bir Shah was Raj Shah who Defeated Chers who were ruling Jahanabad Region. Bir Shah And His Desendents ruled Jahanabad, Sikandarpur, basdinh, Siwan, Darauli,Ratanpura,etc. Bir Shah and his Desendents "Barahiya Rajputs" ruled this region till 18th century. Some Kings who Belongs to Barahiya Clan. (Places they ruled ) (1)Raja Chadradev Singh barahiya Was king of Ratanpura (Present day Mau) (2)Raha Sajjan Singh Barahiya Was king of Darauli (3) Raja Surjan Singh Barahiya Was king of Darauli (4) Rao Devpal Singh Barahiya Was king of Siwan (5) Rao Govardhan Singh Barahiya Was king of Siwan. Barahiya Rajputs fought along with Babu Veer Kunwar Singh Against britishers (dhananjay Singh Barahiya Was General of Babu veer Kunwar Singh and was very brave Soldier Who fought against Britishers.) Barahiya Rajputs of Sikandarpur and Jahanabad Always Helped the Sengar Rajputs of LAKHNESAR . In battle of Rasra when Sengars Defeated Balwant Singh the jagirdar of Benaras, many Barahiya Rajputs fought against Balwant Singh Along With the Sengar Rajputs.
