Sensah Smart Sports Equipment Co., Ltd.is a Chinese brand manufacturing cycling components, particularly shifting and braking systems.
According to the company's website,[1] their headquarters are located in Foshan, Guangdong Province but there is little information about its origins apart that it was formed by a group of people working more than 10 years in the cycling industry. The predominant scenario is that Sensah was formed by ex-Sram employees that used to work in an Sram factory located in Guangzhou area.[2] Their first recorded Taiwanese patent application seems to appear in 2014 and a later Chinese in 2015.[3]
Given their low price, are often recommended as bargain Shimano / SRAM alternatives, with reviewers citing their low cost for similar performance with the more expensive options as their advantage[4][5][6][7]
