Shane P. Allen is an American actor, film producer, and realtor who appeared in the films If You Should Leave Before Me (2025), The Playground (2017), South of 8 (2016), Frost: Portrait of a Vampire (2002), and Once Guilty, Now Innocent, Still Dead (2017). He was nominated for Best Actor at the 2017 GI Film Festival San Diego.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]
Personal life
[edit]Allen was born in Iowa and relocated to La Mesa, California and Tierrasanta, San Diego in 1987.[2][8]
Career
[edit]Allen studied performance at Playhouse West in North Hollywood while living in the area for more than a decade.[2] He worked as a realtor for Prudential California Realty[1] until 2012 before freelancing real estate.[2]
In 2016, Allen was cast as Discovery Channel executive Billy Campell in the film Sully by Clint Eastwood, a story surrounding the 2009 incident of US Airways Flight 1549.[2] He was nominated for Best Actor at the 2017 GI Film Festival San Diego for Once Guilty, Now Innocent, Still Dead.[9]
Allen produced and starred with John Wilcox and Merrick McCartha in J. Markus and Boyd Anderson's debut feature film If You Should Leave Before Me, which premiered at Raindance Film Festival on June 21, 2025.[5][6][7]
