Sibisi Gallery is a South African art gallery based in Johannesburg. Sibisi Gallery was the first art gallery in South Africa to be founded and owned by a black female in South African[1]and one of the first of its kind in the world. Sibisi Gallery deals in contemporary African art. [2][3]

Sibisi Gallery was founded in 2012 by Thandi Sibisi, a South African art dealer who deals in both classic and contemporary African art.[4][5]

Sibisi Gallery was founded on 12 February, 2012, 10a The High Street, Melrose Arch, Johannesburg, one the most prominent and sought after addresses in South Africa. Sibisi Gallery was founded by Thandi Sibisi and by 2013 had become a foremost and prominent art gallery in South Africa. Sibisi Gallery deals exclusively in classical and contemporary African art.[6][7][8][9]
