Stanley Simons is an Australian-American actor best known for portraying Mike Von Erich in the 2023 biographical wrestling drama The Iron Claw.[1][2]
Early life
editSimons was born in Sydney, Australia and briefly lived in both Shanghai and Hong Kong before settling in Brooklyn.[1][3] His mother was a film producer and his father was a creative director. He is the younger brother of musician Sid Simons, with whom he performed in the band Girl Skin.[4][5]
Career
editSimons signed to modeling agency Next Management in 2017.[6] After small roles on television shows including Two Sentence Horror Stories, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, and Little America, Simons was cast alongside Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White, and Harris Dickinson as the Von Erich brothers in the 2023 A24 biographical drama The Iron Claw.[7][8][9] He signed to The Gersh Agency in January 2024.[10]
