Current club

edit

Stiven moved to Hungary in December 2021 after receiving an offer for Aqvital FC Csákvár.[6][7] At the time of his arrival in Csákvár the team had 120 players in the academy. After appointing Stiven as the manager of the youth team, the club grew to 450 players in 8 months.[8] Working alongside Berndt Andras (technical director) the women's section has been successfully restructured. The previous year having an adult team and a u19 only. This year featured a brand new u16 alongside a revamped u19 and adult team squad. The u16 women in their inaugural year have become champions of futsal and sit first in their respective outdoor 11v11 league. Stiven Mikhails u19 men's sit undefeated in their regional league and currently have called up 6 players to the first team. Berndt Andras appointed Nagy Akos former Puskas Akademia Alumni as Coach Mikhails assistant and this decision has proven vital to the success due to the language barrier. Andras believes that "Foreign coaches have a hard time to succeed in Hungary due to the language and transfer of information. We should support and help not watch them fail."

Stiven Mikhail in recent interview on Academy website gave his opinion on his beliefs of development "if we win and play bad , it's not a good day for me. Fundamentals must be present in every match in order to build consistancy. What we learn week in week out is what is important not winning or losing."

2023/2024 Season

Now Stiven Mikhail is working for Bicskei TC. The medium-term goal of Bicskei TC is the NB II and the head coach of the club will be 39-year-old Canadian citizen Stiven Mikhail. He will work closely with the professional manager of Bicskei TC competing in NB III, Csaba Csordás.[9]
