Stone Mattress is an upcoming American thriller drama film directed by Lynne Ramsay and co-written by Tom Townend. It is based on the short story of the same name by Margaret Atwood. It stars Julianne Moore and Sandra Oh.

editIn May 2022, it was revealed that an adaptation of the short story "Stone Mattress" by Margaret Atwood was in development under the title of the same name, with Lynne Ramsay directing and co-writing the screenplay with Tom Townend. Julianne Moore and Sandra Oh joined the lead roles as Verna and Grace. Amazon MGM Studios acquired the North American distribution rights, with StudioCanal holding the rights in France, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.[1]
Filming
editPrincipal photography is expected to begin in late 2024.[2]
