Umoren AKanimoh Felix (Born April 15 1992) , professionally Known as Sugarboy, is a Nigerian reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter.[1] He rose to fame with his single Hola Hola in 2016[2][3]which was MTV Base Nigeria hottest track of 2016.

Early life and Career

Umoren AKanimoh Felix was born in Uyo, Awka Ibom. Sugarboy is the first child in his family, He grew up in Lagos State and Niger State, Nigeria. At a young age, he fell in love with music and started practicing musical instruments.[4]


In 2012 Sugarboy met Emperor Geezy and in 2015 he got signed into G-Worldwide Entertainment. In 2016, Sugarboy dropped “Hola Hola” and in 2017 he released his debut album titled “Believe[5][6][7]
