SUJIN LEE is one of Asia’s most successful entrepreneurs. He is the Founder and Group CEO of Yanolja, the South Korean company that ignited a paradigm shift in the domestic leisure and travel market, which has now expanded globally in offering cloud-based SaaS hospitality management solutions in 60 languages across 200 countries.
Sujin Lee was born in Chungju, Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea in 1978. He grew up under the care of his grandmother. Upon completing his studies at a vocational college, he embarked on a series of entrepreneurial ventures. Finding little success, Sujin began working as a motel janitor. It was during this time that he came up with the idea that led to the founding of Yanolja in 2005. In 2019, Yanolja raised $180 million in investment, elevating Yanolja to the rank of a unicorn company. In 2021, Yanolja attracted a further $1.7 billion investment pushing Yanolja to decacorn company.
