Msughter Iwar (born 14 November 1992), professionally known as Suté Iwar (formerly Suté), is a Nigerian rapper, singer-songwriter, and record producer, signed to Outer South.[1] Suté's debut into the music scene was met with critical acclaim when he released his third mixtape album Vision, which he introduced himself as the King of the Capital.[2]

He is a member of the BANTU Collective, founded by Suté with his brothers Tay Iwar, and Terna Iwar. He rose to stardom in 2022, following the release of "alright, ok", which became his major breakout alté song into the mainstream. In the same year, Killertunes features Suté on "All My Days". In 2023, Suté gained international recognition with the release of his studio album ULTRALIGHT.[3]

Early life

Msughter Iwar was born on 14 November 1992 in Marina, and raised between Lagos and Abuja. His younger brother Tay Iwar cited him as his early musical influence.

Career

On 22 June 2014, Suté debuted his music career with the release of "Badagry".[4]
