Marco Puglisi, also known as Syndrone, is a guitar player and composer based in Basel, Switzerland.[1] Syndrone released two full-length instrumental albums: "Chaos Mechanics" in 2018 and "Neogenesis" in 2022.[2][3] "Neogenesis" features guest appearance of Andy Gillion in the track "Doomsday Apocalypse".[4] In 2019, Syndrone's guitar playing was judged by John Petrucci, Steve Lukather and Tosin Abasi who gave Syndrone top scores across all judging categories (technicality, originality, musicality and feel) which ultimately made him being selected as one of the top three finalists in the Guitarist of the Year 2019 event.[5][6][7] Syndrone uses Waghorn Corax guitar models.[8]
