Tejumola Abisoye is a Nigerian lawyer, youth advocate, and the former executive secretary of Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF). She is currently United Way, Vice President Africa Region. [1][2][3]

editTejumola holds a Bachelor of Law (LLB), from the University of Ibadan, where she graduated with honours from the Department of Private Business Law she also has a Masters of Law (LLM) in International Trade and Investment Law from the University of Pretoria and She is an alumnus of Yale University’s Women’s Leadership Program. Career
editTejumola began her professional journey as a Programmes Director at YouWin. Between 2012 and 2015 she served as Director Programmes and Co-ordination for Guiding Light Assembly a non profit organisation responsible for delivery of targeted humanitarian interventions to improve the livelihoods of communities in Lagos State. Tejumola later became Director programme and coordination at Lagos State Employment Trust Fund and she is currently the Vice President Africa Region for United Way Worldwide. [6][7][8][9] She has also taken up board and advisory roles with organizations including African Research Universities Alliance, and the Global Entrepreneurship Network. [10]
LSETF
editIn April 2019, Tejumola was appointed the executive secretary of the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund by former Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode. During her time as executive secretary, she coordinates the design and implementation of programs Which provided support to over 15,000 small businesses, in Lagos State, she also played a key role in establishing the Poverty Action Lab. Tejumola secured partnerships and donations totaling over $12 million and collaborated with international organizations, including the World Bank, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the U.S. African Development Foundation. editIn 2021 Tejumola was selected as Amujae Leader of the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Presidential Center for Women and Development . [16]
