History

edit

On the day of the beginning of the Russian invasion, on February 23, 2022, the territorial recruitment centers completely replaced the former system of military commissariats and abandoned paper records of persons in favor of electronic records based on the "unified state register of conscripts, conscripts and reservists" already at the legislative level.

Official description

edit

They are formed, liquidated, reorganized by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Direct management and control over their activities is carried out by the relevant operational commands, and the general command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which coordinates the main issues of activity with the relevant structural divisions of the General Staff of the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defense....[1]

The personnel of the Territorial centers of recruitment, as well as the transport and material and technical means of the mentioned territorial centers of recruitment are maintained at the expense of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
