The Duck Hunt is a Mickey Mouse short animated film first released on January 21, 1932,[1] and the first to be released in 1932.[2]

Plot

Mickey and Pluto go duck hunting, stopping to jam to "Columbia, Gem of the Ocean." The ducks get their own back, carrying the hunters through the air and dropping them on a clothesline.[4]

The Duck Hunt is the first Mickey Mouse short to released in 1932.[5] It is also one of the first to be directed by Burt Gillett,[6]

Reception

The Duck Hunt has received mostly positive critical reception,[7] reaching to the influence of the other films in the series.[8]
