If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources. This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines for sports persons and athletes). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). The MARTA Bowl refers to the name of an college gridiron football match between the Georgia State University Panthers and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets played on August 31, 2024 at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta, GA. Despite the proximity between the two schools, this was the first time they had ever played each other in a football game. The match's nickname is derived from the schools' proximity to each other and by the fact that they can both be reached by the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA). The game ended in a Georgia Tech victory with a final score of 35-12.
