is an independent Iranian filmmaker. Behrouz Sebt Rasoul is an independent Iranian filmmaker, screenwriter, editor, photographer, musician and author of two novels. Born in Tehran in 1970, though he graduated from the Karaj University of Industrial Engineering, his passion has always been the cinema. In 2013 he founded the company 'NAMA FILM'. He has made three music documentaries, one wildlife documentary and 28 documentary episodes about nature, all internationally acclaimed by both professionals and the public.[1][2][3][4]

The most ancient land is a television documentary series about Iran that deals with the history, culture, art, wildlife and race of Iranians. This documentary was made in 2 seasons between 2019 and 2021, directed, produced and written by Behrouz Sabt Rasoul, commissioned by the history, culture and art group of One Sima channel. The first season of this documentary was aired in Nowruz 2018 and the second season in 2019 on Ik Sima network.[5]

The first season of this documentary was produced in 2019 in 13 episodes of 40 minutes (total 520 minutes) and was commissioned by One TV channel and aired in Nowruz 2018. In this chapter, the provinces of Mazandaran, Gilan, Ardabil, Golestan, Semnan, Tehran, Alborz, Isfahan, Qazvin, Fars and North Khorasan were introduced from the aspects of ethnicity, culture, vegetation and fauna, etc. [6]

second season

The construction of the second season also started in May 2019 and was completed by 2019. This season was produced in 15 40-minute episodes (600 minutes in total) and was broadcast on September 2020. In this chapter, she has focused more on anthropology, lifestyle and attitude of people in the most remote villages of Iran, and besides anthropology, she has also paid attention to the historical monuments and nature of those areas.[7]
