The Sovereignist Pole Party (Romanian Partidul Polul Suveranist) is a political party in Romania, founded on February 22, 2024, and registered on April 10, 2024, in the Registry of Political Parties - Bucharest Tribunal. The Sovereignist Pole Party has its headquarters in the Municipality of Iași, Iași County, with leadership provided by the founding president, Dragoș-Bogdan Dorojan. The Sovereignist Pole Party has not been a part of, is not part of, and has no connection with the defunct Sovereignist Pole alliance created by the AUR party.
Political doctrine
editThe Sovereignist Pole Party is a center-right party with a moderate sovereignist orientation, having the following principles listed in the Charter of Fundamental Principles:
BELIEVE Principle 1 - Believe in a strong Romania through its heritage, independence, sovereignty, and greatness. Principle 2 - Believe in a Europe that assumes its power and protects its currency, borders, and civilization. Principle 3 - Believe in the dignity of the human person and fundamental freedoms.
ENCOURAGE Principle 4 - Encourage initiatives, ideas, and public debate. Principle 5 - Encourage work to better reward merit, talent, and effort. Principle 6 - Encourage local autonomy and trust in citizens.
DEFEND Principle 7 - Strengthen public security by restoring state authority. Principle 8 - Defend the most vulnerable. Principle 9 - Defend our way of life and our borders.
TRANSMIT Principle 10 - Transmit knowledge, values, and the pride of being Romanian to all children. Principle 11 - Transmit a more respectful world towards the environment, promoting sustainable development. Principle 12 - Transmit an ethical vision of technical and scientific progress.
