The Wet Hamster is a hamster named "Fudge" after a bath. The picture was originally posted for a "Funniest Animals Pictures" contest. Noting that hamsters (along with lots of other rodents) getting wet can cause hypothermia and skin problems, this hamster may have had lots of problems with it's health. The picture of this hamster is humorous to lots of people, causing the hamster to become an internet sensation.
