Tigrane Seydoux, born in 1984 in Monaco, is a Monegasque entrepreneur and businessman. He is the co-founder of the company Big Mamma.[1]
Biography
editTigrane Seydoux is the son of Jacques Seydoux, managing director of the Société des bains de mer de Monaco. After secondary studies at the Lycée Henri-IV and a preparatory class at the Lycée privé Sainte-Geneviève, he joined HEC Paris, graduating in 2008.[2][3]
He started by working in Stéphane Courbit's online gaming startup in London. Back in Paris, Tigrane joined the financial management of LOV Group for 3 years. While he wanted to create his own company, he met Victor Lugger, director of MyMajorCompany, the first French crowdfunding platform for artists. They then set out to start a crepe chain at first. After a month, the young men realized that they didn't like crepes, but they did appreciate catering. Victor Lugger had an affinity with Italy. The duo therefore headed towards Italian catering.[4]
In 2015, they created Big Mamma, which offers products directly from Italy. They set up their first restaurants in Paris in the 11th arrondissement, then on Boulevard des Batignolles, then in the Marais.[5]
In 2020, the duo created a separate home catering company, Napoli Gang.[6]
In April 2021, he co-founded Sunday with Victor Lugger and Christine de Wendel, the company Sunday, whose objective is to speed up payments at restaurants. In 2021, this company bought CHL PLZ, founded in Montreal in 2018.[7]
In July 2023, the group had 24 restaurants in five countries.[8]
