Dr. Tina Thomas, also known as Dr. T, is an award-winning speaker and a prominent figure in the field of human potential.[according to whom?] Thomas is renowned for her innovative approach to understanding personality through the intersection of Science and Psychology.[citation needed]

Biography

Thomas holds a Ph.D. in Biopsychology and is a registered nurse and board-certified social worker. She has a distinguished academic background, having completed various programs at institutions such as Duke University Medical Center, Duke University, Union Institute and University, Tulane University, the University of the State of New York at Albany, and Charity Hospital School of Nursing.

Career

Thomas is the founder and director of The Gestalt Institute and Relationship Center of New Orleans.[1] Her extensive career includes roles such as the clinical director of Tulane Cancer Counseling Center, research professor at Duke University Medical Center, and director of the Holistic Health Department at the Stanley S. Scott Cancer Center LSU Medical Center.[citation needed]

In addition to her clinical work, Thomas is an accomplished author with publications including The Ultimate Edge – How to Be, Do and Have Anything You Want[2] and Who Do You Think You Are – Understanding People from the Inside Out.[3]

She is also the owner and director of the Gestalt Institute and Relationship Center of New Orleans, providing individual and couple therapy, business consulting, and overseeing a team of therapists.[citation needed] Thomas has been actively involved in crisis intervention and is in the process of creating a "Life 10" course for local high schools.[citation needed]

Thomas' diverse experience includes owning Abita Springs Be & Be, a retreat-style bed and breakfast, and working as a consultant and therapist with Matrix Consulting LLC.[citation needed] Her contributions to the field extend to research on the biological basis of personality at Duke University Medical Center.[citation needed]
