- Comment: Some of this is already covered in Public image of Taylor Swift and/or The Eras Tour and some of the other content is WP:NOTDIARY. I suggest starting a discussion at Taylor Swift to gain consensus for a stand-alone article. S0091 (talk) 18:46, 30 June 2024 (UTC)

Transportation of Taylor Swift, the successful American musician, has been the subject of critical commentary[1], scrutiny, protest and threats of legal action regarding what are perceived to be her choices of transportation. [2] [3]
Early life
editAs a teenager, she got her drivers permit on her fourth attempt and she drove her parent's white Hummer H2.[4]
21st century
editMany of her lyrics reference particular car brands.[5]
Her first car was a pink Chevrolet Silverado gifted to her by her record label which she later donated to charity.[6] Her first big purchase was a silver Lexus SC430 convertible as an 'act of rebellion'.[7] For touring she has used a cavalcade of blacked out Range rovers and Mercedes SUVs.[8]
Private jet usage
editIn 2009 her business registered a Dassault Falcon 900 (since sold) and later a Dassault 7X private jet.[9] In 2023, her Eras tour unintentionally boosted public transit.[10][11] In 2024, a cease and desist legal letter was sent to Jack Sweeney for tracking the private jets registered to Swifts business among other private jets flying. Sweeney had used publicly available flight data.[12] Activists from Just Stop Oil targeted the airfield where her jet was believed to be near Stansted Airport, London, England.[13] The daughter of Dave Grohl also criticised the private jet usage. Rail Europe conceded high-speed rail might not be the most time efficient way to travel between particular tour locations but did write an open letter to her for more focus on rail travel.[14]
